For those of you I haven't heard from in a long time, we are living in Orem, Utah now, actually we have been for the past year and a half. I would like to say I miss living in NYC, but it just isn't so! (We do miss our friends there, though.) I am too much of a Wal-Mart junkie to live in the big city! There is just something about driving over there, and picking up everything I need in one stop, and then not having to cart it away on my back like some kind of pack mule. Not to mention having to carry a stroller up and down the subway stairs. NYC was a good experience, but I could only do it for so long. I admire all you diehards who do it every day. You are tough!! I am a wuss. (p.s. what do you do when you have a stroller and then get pregnant? Do you just stop going anywhere? I can't imagine trying to get around NY pregnant with a stroller.)
Living in Utah again has been nice. We are closer to our families now, and get to see them often. It has been especially nice since I am expecting our second baby (a girl this time!) in 3 weeks, and I have had my mom around this time to help with Drew (he is 2 and a half already! I can't believe it) The end of this pregnancy has been a bit harder than last time, last time I sat on my butt for a month eating chocolate and getting fatter by the minute. This time, I haven't had that luxury- instead I get to chase around a toddler and try to take care of a house and all the work that comes along with that. (But don't worry, I still manage to get in my fair share of chocolate..hehe).
Drew is doing awesome, it is so fun to see him turn from a toddler into a little boy. It is amazing to watch him learn new things, and he amazes me with his intelligence. He is a good little boy. I am quite sure he takes after Marshall in personality (although he has Krista moments here and there- remember! He's a toddler...And if I had a nickel for every time someone in the store says "where did you get that red hair?, or "look at the beautiful red curly hair..." (It really is cute though, even if I do say so myself.) People just love a redhead. Actually, I love 2 of them!!! :)
