Sisters

These two are so lucky...I grew up with only brothers, and didn't know anything about sisters until my brother got married (then I got the best sister ever!) But these two will always have each other- I sure hope they appreciate it. (And for you geneticists out there- is it possible to have a child with blue eyes if neither parent has blue eyes? Both Marshall's dad and my dad have blue eyes- could that skip a generation? Perhaps this is just baby blue and they will change to brown or something in a few months. I don't know though- they look quite blue to me!) We just love our beautiful girls!

T's eyes took a good year to change to the colour they are now...some sort of brown/green/hazel type mix. But blue is recessive so you and M could carry the blue eye gene and 1 in 4 of your kids could be blue eyed... that's my science for the day.
I hope they are great friends too! I have 2 sisters and never had that "sister" relationship with either of them, so I hope your girls are best of friends!

(This is SARAH, btw, not Jon, I'm just too lazy to sign out right now) Yes, there is something special about sisters! And yes, your kids could have the blue eyed gene (you and Marshall could carry the gene even if it doesn't manifest) - but most babies start out that way so only time will tell! :)

So cute. SO SO cute. I always wanted to have a sister. I hope they appreciate it, too. Gavin has brown eyes, and I have blue and Aaron has greenish/hazelish. No one on either side really has brown. Like Melanie said, there is def a recessive gene there. I love the cheeks on Rachel. I want to eat, em!

I think those blue eyes are there to stay. That's the color of my kids eyes at that age and they never changed. She is so cute. Yea for sisters. I would pay good money to have one genetic sister.

Well, we Cammacks always thought of you as another sister so don't count us out! And yes, my sisters, to this day are my best friends. Though when we were in high school, I'm sure you remember some of the knock down-drag out fights we had over something so stupid as wearing someone else's clothes. Hopefully your little girls won't do that!
