Day Out with Thomas
So if you know my son at all, or if you have been reading my blog semi-regularly, you know what a Thomas nut he is...it is all he wants to do/play/talk about. He is borderline obsessed! But I love it because he plays so imaginatively with his trains and they provide him with endless entertainment. So when Nana caught wind of the Day Out With Thomas, naturally she did the spoiling grandparent thing and bought us all tickets for Memorial Day. We spent the day up in Heber City with all of the other Thomas freaks- he thought he had died and gone to heaven. His best friend Ethan that lives next door (that, incidentally, loves Thomas just as much as Drew; in fact- I think Ethan is the one that got Drew into Thomas in the first place!) happened to be having his birthday that very day, so we got him a ticket and he came along and joined in the fun! We had a ball, (until the weather took a serious nosedive and we practically had to run for our lives to make it to the car) and many tears were shed when it was finally time to leave. Thank you, Nana, for being such an awesome Nana and spoiling our little boy into Thomas oblivion. (Might I also mention, Nana is the culprit behind the following Thomas items (that I have the sublime privilege of tripping over daily): Thomas beach towel, lantern, throw pillow, long sleeved t-shirt, swimming trunks, coloring books/stickers, various DVD's, board game and train whistle, and of course some of his actual trains, etc, etc. Just to name a few...mom, you seriously need to settle down!! lol Thank you for such a wonderful time- we love it when you come to visit!

We love Thomas! (hello -- I have 4 boys!) I completely understand the "tripping over stuff" phenomenon. It is endless!
I wish I had heard about this day! Harrison would have died!
Glad you had fun!
Maybe Gavin will get into Thomas and they could have fun together...Drew will always be way too old for Gavin and think he's just a pesky kid. But what a fun day! Nana's are great - especially yours!
So fun! Jack is already into Thomas "Tah-Tah" too! What a great sounding event!
I wanna go. Not just for my sons but also for me.
