Who knew a stupid swingset could be so darn complicated and take so long to put together?? Oh well, I know when it is all done it will all be worth it. Thanks, daddy, for giving up all your precious free time (we all know that is hard to come by) to do this for us!

Progress...
We have spent nearly all of our spare time over the past weeks working on "the project" aka- the swingset. After about 15 hours of total work, we are now to Phase 17 of 24 phases. It is finally starting to actually resemble a swingset now, and since the weather hasn't been so great, we have now set up shop in the garage (don't worry, we measured and we should be able to fit it out the garage door and through the side gate when it is time to put everything together in the backyard. But wouldn't that be hilarious if we couldn't get it out of the garage? ha. ha. ha...) But we are making progress and hopefully we will have it finished before our kids are too old to use it...
I secretly like watching Mr. Mellow get all frustrated and irate at certain phases. (I haven't seen him throw any tools yet, but there's still time!) I helped with a lot of putting the fort together, I am quite the whiz with the drill. (Just stand back!)
Last Saturday, everything all lined up in the garage. We might be slow, but at least we are organized!
Last Saturday, trying to get the A frame put together.

I am AMAZED at your dedication to do this! We want to get a swingset next year when we (hopefully) buy a bigger house...but I'm not sure I want to put it together...especially if it takes weeks! I always thought Marshall was very patient...but you both should be given awards for sticking with this. Your kids are going to LOVE IT!!! (can I bring mine over? j/k!)
OF COURSE you can bring them over- the more the merrier! After all the time we have spent on this stupid thing, we better get some big time useage out of it!
